AJS 400 debuts at Goodwood.. appears to be same engine as the MASH eg a Shineray, styling same as Cadwell 125.. i think i prefer Jawas version but have only seen photos so far

The new AJS 400 is a great looking bike, similar in style to the Mash and using the same 400cc engine by the looks of it

I saw this close-up in the AJS workshop.  Apparently the engine is a 400cc 4-valve Honda copy with just under 30bhp on tap and good for a good 80mph.  The latest environmental regulations mean that the engine is less powerful than it could be in order to meet current emissions standards.  List price to be IRO £4,600.00
