Title: Nice XBR cafe on YouTube
Post by: mthee on May 30, 2018, 12:07:43 PM: Love the build, and sounds great, but I thought a cafe racer is all about weight saving, so how come no 2 into 1?Surprised also to see the cheapo eBay digital Speedo on a quality build! Mine lasted literally dozens of miles (3)!

That's why I went for two into one zorst, smaller headlight and even went to the expense of having all the starter motor related engine parts removed from the engine and making it kickstart only, oh and a lithium battery. Never actually got the scales out to see exactly how much I'd saved but believe me, if you pick up box of bits that came out of the engine alone..... it's a fair few "bags o sugar" in weight saving. Sadly no more but always nice to see a photo of it... cheers

Going the spoked route on the "tracker" as weight isn't my ultimate goal this time. ENJOYMENT is 👍👍🤘....cheers, Michael
