them here that know me know i have a long standing love of suzuki katanas. my shed contains enough parts to build 4 or 5 at the moment, but when the opportunity to buy a built up runner fitted with a manic gsxr1100 engine arose, i couldnt resist the temptation, so this weekend im off to pick this up, just in time for the winter! needless to say, if anyone wants to buy my bmw r1150gs, drop me a message.

oh, ive got some nicer ones than that myself, cast iron bench ends designed to look like branches, seriously heavy duty stuff, about 30 kilos each end.

really nice kat johnr ,,who done your engine mounting plates tommy
-
engine mounts were done by barry, the guy who built it, hes a bit of a perfectionist, and a superb engineer.

i made a bench using some offcuts of oak railway sleeper. 5 inch wide boards, 4 inches thick, painted with linseed oil, theyre now nearly completely black, so a good job!

that sounds substantial, i will have to use scaffolding boards cos thats all i have..

i bought two new 8 foot oak railway sleepers to make a fireplace and these were the offcuts. sleepers werent that expensive considering they were oak, 30 quid each. bloody heavy tho.

Lovely bike, where have all the electrics been hidden?

under the seat, alloy undertray replaced the inner mudguard, then all the wiring, fusebox, ignition, reg rec battery etc were all fitted onto the tray.
