Anyone else here read 'Journey Through Britain' by John Hillaby?

A marvellous account of his walk from Lands End to J O'Groats in the early 60s. A superb writing style combined with an economical but detailed background knowledge of the landscapes he passes through made this the book of the year for me so far.
