Today before a run out I filled up my tank with £18 worth of petrol. However when I went to pay my card was declined. I began filling out the forms required to take my details and apologised to the young man behind me for taking so long. He was shouted down to another till to pay for his petrol and the cashier shouted me and said he had also paid for my fuel!
I was stunned and thanked him profusely and all he said was 'you go on and enjoy your day'.
I will of course pay back that debt next time I can help someone in similar circumstances, but what a lovely man this stranger was.

Was just thinking. I would do this for one of you lot, but would I do it for a complete stranger? Maybe up to a tenner, but after that, not sure :-\

Wow, restores your faith in human nature that. ;D
I thought from the thread title that we were going to be talking about the Spanish Inquisition though...
