A lot buy a ticket, turn up and collect their badge and goody bag, have a nosey around and then head off to B&Bs in Betws-y-Coed without camping. They had a longer ride than they expected last year though!

I am going for the soft option of staying in a Premier Inn. After years of camping I have finally admitted to myself that I have too many old injuries that prevent me from enjoying it anymore.

I don't mind, after all I used to shit in a nappy and I don't miss that!

Nothing finalised yet, but I hope to stay in YHA Conway on the Friday, so I can dander down the hill for a few pints in the Albion :)

Post by: timbo on December 19, 2017, 12:48:57 AM: Yep, no luck with Youth Hostel, so tried Sam at Platts Farm for bunkhouse. Fully booked as well! Bugger! However she has put us in the apartment which sleeps three, at £51 total. So works out OK for myself, Guzzi Steve, and Geordie. There is also plenty of camping too ;)
