Great to see he managed a 'ton' lap, even if the bike was starting to fall to bits (just like the original no doubt :-) ), but when you consider the state of the roads when Bob Mc did it, it puts his achievment on a different level entirely (as M Dunlop freely admits)
great post by the way .... now ... is there any way i can get that soundtrack onto my phone as a ringtone ......

Somewhere tucked away (ok ..I can't remember where I've put em) I have the original MCN TT sound stories,I think I got them in 1976 (2 albums) all I need now is a Record player.. ;D

Yes, men were men in those days but all credit to Dunlop for giving it such a go and not just touring round.
I had a clip of the Guzzi V8 as a ringtone on my phone but my wife made me take it off.....
I have a bunch of MP3s which I think are from the Sound Stories - if you pm me your email I could let you have some.
