The Bullet is having a spat but working. Diagnosed in about 15 minutes.  :) Parts supply and the warranty process will of course take longer  :(

None of your assemble, test, disassemble, reassemble, test.... ;)

Yes, life made easy. However, if you don't have a TPS it can't fail....

I must admit I liked the ability with my Tiger 955i to adjust fuelling without messing about with jets, needles etc.

yep. bit of an invalid argument'here is my computer telling me what electronics have failed thus saving me the problem of diagnosing the faults myself, proof that fi is superior to carbs' ........'erm, i dont need a computer to tell me what electronic faults i have, because i dont have any electronics to fail.......plus, has it not occured that if the nearly new fi system can fail so soon, isnt it also likely that the self diagnosing computer that tells you the fault could fail too?'.......

It hasn't failed. I did 75 miles on it this morning. It has a slight hesitation on acceleration and a pop in the exhaust when you turn it off. Instead of spending hours doing plug chops and swapping silly little bits of rubber I know exactly what to do. The longest bit is going to be the paperwork. The dealer can't argue there is nothing wrong either.

My last new carbed bike did fail, as in not rideable. Swollen O-ring that took the dealer 3 days to find .
