Title: Motorcycle Ergonomics Simulator
Post by: woundedjohn on November 06, 2016, 11:32:12 AM
For those of us who are vertically challenged finding a bike with suitable seat height can be a challenge. Also those of us who prefer to ride in a more upright position.
This site is brilliant!

Just put in the bike you're interested in, put in your leg length and other info. and gives you the ergonomics of that bike.

Give it a go.

Apologies if this site is already well known but it's new to me.

Yes, been using it for a while. I like the way you can "customise" the bike so I can see what the knee angle is after adding 2" to my Super Four's seat.

I am not sure how accurate it actually is, as I believe they get the dimensions by scaling photographs, but it does give a guide. And although they have the option to add new bikes they just ignore my attempts.

I've used if for my last three new bikes. I think they do more than scale photos as it will pick up a fat seat over a narrow one of allegedly the same height.

When you offer them a new machine, they do ask for a side-on photo which is why I made the assumption (which like all others may well be wrong) I did.
