If you are of a nervous disposition or suffer from agrophobia or vertigo, DO NOT WATCH THIS VIDEO!
Even if you don't suffer from these maladies, you may still hide behind the sofa! ;)
Would I do it, NO WAY!

About the most bonkers sport I've ever seen! WOW! Thanks for posting! The tree-lined sections had me moving out of the way whilst watching! Seeing, but still struggling to believe, I mean how fit must those lad's be?! Good to see Brits taking the top 4 spots 8)

What I want to know is why some d!ckhead parked their car halfway up a mountain on a MTB race course? Tch, some people .....
-
I`m assuming he wasn`t the first down the route.... so why isn`t the track littered with dead body`s ??
amazing..........
-
Ditto Rufus! Flipping bonkers! Where do you find this stuff Bill? Keep posting ;)
By the way Rufus, great to see Derek again, at Stafford :)
-
BOTTLE??... yes indded... a 70cl bottle of Absolut vodka for starters!!
huge respect for the riders.... and what bloody bike was he riding... not one you can buy in Halfrauds I bet!!
only thing I've seen more bonkers than that is the wingsuit flyers ...

I`ve just watched this ... thank you. After the first few seconds I was nearly turning it off as I was thinking "there`s only one way this is going", but I watched it. This fella is a proper "head the ball" !!!!!!! :o :o :o Thanks for posting ;)

Nah, that one is tame.
-
Can't be anything to top that, surely!? Now if I was only half my age ... I'd still be watching it on YouTube...
-
Holy s#*t, I don`t do heights very well and that one had my stomach in my mouth .... :o
-
If you don't like heights don't watch this one
-
OK, so you want me to arrange some wingsuit flying off the Long Mynd, with a bit of extreme MTB over the Clee Hills for June's rally, in Shropshire :-\
-
In the links below Guzzi Steve's video, this (standing back summersault worth waiting for)
Timbo sounds like he's up for the challenge!
-
Yep, literally, life on the edge ;)
-
Better edge than hedge... ;D

My bowels actually went very slack watching the last 3 youtube clips..... completely bonkers
-
Sure that's not the 'Abbott'? ;) :-[ ;)
Good health! Bill
-
Aye Bill, as it happens it's Norwich beer festival this week, so if it's not the abbot it'll be summat else :D
I'm certainly going to try 'bigbangtheory' just 'cos of it's name
pip pip

Only slightly jealous, I believe it is spread right across the city :)
-
Mmmmm, did someone mention beer? :o

Aye Steve, that St. Peter's Grapefruit with a good goat or mutton Madras is really tasty and freshens the old palette. ;) The 'Saint's Whisky beer' also looks interesting, but "peating the malt" and "English whisky" are oxymorons to me! :( Just add a measure or two of Leapfrog and it'll be fine! ;D Happy supping!
Good health, Bill

Oh dear, we're turning into a real ale blog ;)
Actually visited StPeters brewery a couple of years ago. A moated castle, surrounded by long horn cattle! Doesn't get any better, well actually it does. Great aviation museum just up the road :)

Aye Tim, I thought the brewery was the aviation take off point! ;)

lol... love it.... LEAPFROG... must remember that... sure as hell can't spell the real name :D :D
Not a great fan of St pete's, but great location, friend (yup I got one!) had his wedding reception there a couple of years back... magical setting, and it was a lot more fun drinking decent beer rather than endless glasses of prosicko...
have a good weekend everyone

Aye Steve,
LAPHROAIG
However, they have started using the claptrap favoured by the purveyors of "prosicko" to "describe" a new "Quarter Cask" malt they are purveying and I quote:
- NOSE: Burning embers of peat in a crofters fireplace, hints of coconut and banana aromas.
- PALATE: Deep, complex and smoky yet offers and surprises the palate with a gentle sweetness.
- FINISH: Really long, and dries appropriately with smoke and spice.
- 2015 Silver Outstanding Medal Winner - International Wine & Spirits Competition
- " ...., hints of coconut and banana aromas." Oh! Really? I know the Gulf Stream envelopes Islay, but it isn't in the Caribbean! ::)
- " ..... surprises the palate with a gentle sweetness." Aye, like Barr's 'Original Irun Brew'! :P
- " ...., and dries appropriately with smoke and spice." And so does a peppered mackrel! :) I need to try the two together, with some oatcakes for breakfast! ::)
More nuf and I trust Norwich does you proud. :)

So Bill, with all that bol*ocks and it only gets a silver medal (in some whiskey manufacturer sponsored 'competition'), says it all really.
I'm no great fan of whiskey, but I have a liking for leapfrog & queen anne (which I havn't seen about much these days.)and, wash my mouth out.... it's blended!

Aye Bill. Some of the descriptions for ale fairly stretch the imagination. Great to see Steve spells whiskey the correct way though ;)

That'll be the "nuf" then! ;)

ok ok, point taken... I admit it... I'm a miserable Sassenach but really should have known better than to refer to whisky from Scotland as whiskey, which of course comes from Ireland/Canada/America...
tomorrow I will shave with a blunt sgian dubh in penance
