Evening chaps, this fantastic bit of engineering is available to view on bike exif site, plus more photos to pour over. It was on there a couple o months back so one will most likely av to go into the "search" box to find it.....cheers, Michael

Damn that's exactly what I planned to do with my SR400 before I sold it {pause for general guffawing}. It is beautiful but what the hell is 'Yard built'?

Yes exactly. I think yard built is a term Yamaha have coined to describe some of their models, in which they have involved some custom bike builders/designers to have an input. They are aiming to use the whole custom/cafe racer ethos to market their bikes. That is my understanding of it :-\

Lovely looking bike we have been talking about it on another site I belong to, although we recon the supercharger hasnt got enough plenum to work effecently
