Title: Here's the goods guys!
Post by: timbo on July 19, 2016, 11:28:25 AM
Ok, T shirts are £10, and are sized as follows, Small 34/36, Med 38/40, Large 42/44, XL 46/48, XXL 50/52, 3XL 54/56, 4XL 58/60, 5XL 62/64. They seem to be a fairly generous fitting, as large fits me, whereas, sometimes XL fits me, depending on beer consumed of course.

We've gone for modern style beanie hats, and they are £7. They will be different from the sample in the pic. as the roundel is too small at 50mm across. It will be a bit larger.
Stickers are £1 each, and are 78mm across, and done on exterior weather proof vinyl.
All UK and Ireland postage will be free.

So, PM me with your order, and name and address,  and we'll see how it goes over the next couple of weeks, and then ill place the order.
Payment can be by cheque to myself, Tim Entwistle, 4 Ballysculty Road, Antrim, BT41 4QU, or Paypal at alison.machin@tiscali.co.uk

If you're posting on here you are a club member as I understand it!

You are just soooooo right Crazyfrog. The 'club' is loosely based on those with a penchant for single cylinder M/cycles, that's about it.
I myself have always had singles apart from a Villiers 2T, Dommie, Triumph 3TA, Suzi 500T......................all I might add in a far distant past.
Long live the single (apart from the fact that the bike that I currently have is now not produced, the XT660Z!)

Get yourself a 'T' shirt, then you are definately on the slippery slope to be fully affiliated to the sad old gits club!

PS to Timbo, did you try it and if you did was it good!

I'm doing the T-shirts to order, tomorrow morning, 24 so far. I will get a couple extra done in medium and large maybe, but I don't want to end up being stuck with a pile of stock. I will get a few more hats done, as they are one size fits all, and I will have some stickers. So if you want a T shirt, get your order in Michael  ;)
Title: Re: Here's the goods guys!
Post by: timbo on July 24, 2016, 10:37:15 AM
Once this first batch are done, and posted out, I will continue to take more orders, but it will be a while before I get more done probably. I may well get a few done for Stafford. I will also be over for Cwmdu in September. Just realised, with Bills order, I'm out of stickers, but will get a pile more done  :)

Post by: timbo on August 01, 2016, 12:25:57 PM
All orders dispatched this morning, all second class, so two to five working days.
Unfortunately postage has ate up a lot of our potential surplus. A T shirt went as a large letter at £1.20 , but anything more than a single T shirt was classed as a small parcel, at £2.85. I will post what then total surplus will be when I work it all out  :-\
Title: Re: Here's the goods guys!

Don't be out of pocket Tim, I'll happily pay postage on mine if you need it.
Title: Re: Here's the goods guys!
Post by: timbo on August 01, 2016, 02:07:25 PM
Nope, no worries, we have made a prophet, sorry, I mean a surplus  :-\, of £80
That assumes I sell the extra T-shirts, hats, and stickers. So £40 to Northern Ireland's new Air Ambulance, and £40 to Harley D Bear Akita Rescue, which my good lady Alison runs, (by all means visit Harley D Bears Facebook page, as we currently have ten lovely Akita's all looking for good homes, UK wide. The above figure does not include a generation donation by one top Thumpeteer on here, and I won't embarrass him by naming him ;) )

Not a bother folks. We were long overdue some merchandise  :)
I won't know exactly what I have left for sale until this wknd, as I've a couple of mates who want stuff I think, so I'll let you know for definite then Kieth, if that's OK. I met over a hundred Valley Commandos, when I was recently in south Wales  ;)
If anyone receives a T shirt, not in the the size they ordered, please PM me, as I may have made one mistake  :-\
Anyway, I will be doing more stuff in the future, probably T shirts in blue or green, in time for Stafford in October  :)

Had to donate to NI Air Ambulance as a personal donation to make sure they get an extra tenner in Gift Aid. If I'd made the donation on behalf of the club, they wouldn't have received the extra tenner. I assume everyone is OK with that  ;)

Hi!

I think I may have missed the boat here...if you have anything left, coul I have a MED T shirt please, and a sticker? I mat be able to get a friend to buy one too, he would be Med or Large, then it would only be one packet to post.

If you've sold them all, well-done, and hell mend me for not keeping on top of things. I'm up for your next order (though the grey colour is really nice!)

Cheers

Oh, that's weird, will look into it. Also, a little bird has told me that the letters are coming off in the wash. I haven't experienced this problem myself, and ive washed my T half a dozen times, but if this is a problem across the board, I need to know, so I can pass it on to our supplier. I only wash stuff at 40, if that makes any difference?

Hi Blew, PMd you mate ref PayPal prob.
I plan to get some more T shirts done, for Stafford. Going to go for black on a sandy colour. Will get a sample done, and post pics. The plan is to take orders before Stafford, sell some on the stand at Stafford, and also take orders for more at Stafford.

Spoke with T-shirt supplier. He hasn't had any other problems, but he is going to be trying out a new product which is an equivalent to screen printing, so he is going to do me a sample. If the text is starting to come off the existing T-shirts, then place a tea towel on top, and apply a warm iron which should refix it. I know this isn't ideal, but is all I can suggest for now. If the transfers are completely coming off all T-shirts, then I will have to negotiate with him to redo them all, which is hastle I just don't need at the moment.

Tim, don't worry yourself with thinking you need to get them redone you have done a great job getting them designed and made but it would be interesting to see the screen printed equivalent.

Tim, don't worry yourself with thinking you need to get them redone you have done a great job getting them designed and made but it would be interesting to see the screen printed equivalent.

+1 for that. It was beyond the call of duty to get them done in the first place IMHO....

Not yet mate, too busy. But no doubt I'll post on here when I do. Phoned a guy up who called at our stall at Stafford, as he wanted some Falcone info. Tells me he has a couple of Katanas. What is it about the Thumper Club and Katanas :-\ Is there a splinter group we need to know about  ;D
