That's weird. I replaced the ignition switch on my Dommie a while back, and i was able to source a new pattern one easily on eBay. So i looked it up again just now, and there's 97 listings for the Dommie, but none for the XBR  :-\

Morning Joolz, had a look and found the old ignition switch last night. It's defo not in the best condition but might put you on till you find a replacement. Don't want anything for it, just cover the cost of the postage. Give me a shout if you want/need it sending down.....cheers, Michael

Thanks for your offers of help, it turned out it was a dodgy wire from the ignition switch that I have now repaired, I tend to get a bit dishartened over my bike, I seem to do more maintainance on it than riding, but its a fast fragile machine that seems to need a lot of care, I suppose its like owning a Ducati single. On the upside its been noticed a lot and several people have asked me to bring it to various events this summer

I think we all go through periods of despondency with our bikes, but then there's the buzz of a perfect run, were it all comes together  ;)
