Dave and Pat, two of our number, took part in a charity week long moped tour of Northern Ireland, including over a hundred mile lap of Lough Neagh with the local autocycle chapter. There were nineteen persons, all pensioners over 70, on eighteen mopeds, one of which was two-up, and average speed was around 25-30mph. They had breakdowns, punctures, accidents etc, and rode through all conditions including snow, hail, and strong winds.
They appeared last night on our local news, Newsline, 03/05/2016, which you can catch on the iPlayer, until 6.55 this evening, for an unplanned reason, which you will have to watch to find out ;) Well done Pat :)
