It looks like a US spec SL 350 to me.....could be a CL ???.... no, defo an SL... Lovely....I want it :P

Lovely...! Most definitely an SL350 .... with a 1971 British no. plate... I can't recall them being a UK model... Very popular in the good old US of A , where bikes similar to this were known as "desert sleds" ... If you ever get the opportunity to take a closer look, cast an eye over the speedo, an American one will have the numerals rising differently to our models... ie , 5, 15, 25, 35, where a UK speedo rises 10, 20, 30, mph, etc etc etc ..... I saw one recently at a VJMC show at Lotherton Hall show near Leeds ... It was restored fastidiously, and in a "better than new" condition. Unfortunately, it was priced to get all of the owners restoration costs back... Which was more than the bikes real value.... Nice to see that one though.... Regards, Tony

+1 :) I would reckon, very rare in UK and sought after by the VJMCC lot.
