In trawling online for an XBR, I can across a couple of cafe racers which I thought might be of interest.
First is an SZR which looks quick and I think is pretty good value;

Second, an LS650 for your viewing pleasure;

The SZR looks nice and as you say, not a bad price.
-
SZR is a well tidy job. Not 100% sure about the Savage. Something weird going on with the rear mudguard. A mere cosmetic detail ;)
-
the yam is nice, but the suzuki is just not quite there yet, its just out of proportion with the back wheel looking like its out of place somehow.
-
Yam looks good. And a lot better without the lump o plastic on the front.
The suzuki is built with a pillion in mind. If they can keep their feet on! Mind you, the mark one 400four had the pillion pegs attached to the swing arm, but not right at the far end. ;D

Yes I agree the yam does look nice and yes I also prefer it without the fairing on. Yes I think the problem with the suzuki is the seat is to long and the rear mudguard is set wrong, it doesn't seem to follow the arc of the rear wheel. I do like the look of the savage engine tho

Yeah, the Savage motor is nice looking. IMHO this bike needs the rear mudguard setting up properly, Manx Norton style tank with solo seat and hump, it would transform it ;) Oh, get rid of the digital speedo and fit some nice clocks ( I`m not slating it, it`s probably someone`s pride and joy and fair play to them....it`s just what I think I`d like to see if it were mine ??? )
