Ha ha. I love this. Ok, the tyres ain't the most "practical" but I just think it looks funky. Lack of a front mudguard.... Impossible over here (ask me how I know, and don't mention the Tupperware)

It reminded me of a creature from Star Wars. ;D ;D  It does more than put a smile on your face, it makes you laugh.

Easier said than done without the aid of photographic evidence, but try and picture a Beemer R100 (kindda customised) with the shortest ally type front mudguard you,ve ever seen. Then picture a three day trip around the east coast, (whitby and the surrounding moorland routes) throw in some seriously heavy rainfall. The result being a very wet Beemer rider (propellor) and a fairly a amused XBR rider (me) then drop in a trip to sainsburys homebase (it was a Sunday) to try and find a solution to solve the lack of said mudguard. Clearly being of Yorkshire kin cost was always at the forefront of the exercise, hence the purchase of a TUPPERWARE  tub. Use Tupperware tub lid as a makeshift fender extender strapped on with cable ties and gaffer tape (what else is there??) the end result: a slightly drier Beemer pilot and much hilarity. You clearly had to be there. As I,m sure we,ve all got similar tales of crazy things we've done over the years.....cheers. Michael

Don't mention the battery.

Or the desmosedici.

Certainly a head turner/scratcher. I like it but then I love the standard SR as well  ;)
