Could there be a more apt ad, at the top line of this forum. It really gives me a chuckle :D Though I'm struggling to decide between Phillipino /Asian/ Arab/mature ladies in my area!
I reckon our singles are cheaper to run, and lower maintenance ;)

Our singles are better looking than most too!!!! I wonder how they handle? :o ;) I`ve got a BedCo advert at the top of mine saying "when comfort is all you need", wonder if its the same ad? ???

I keep getting offered THREE new singles in my local area, trouble is two,s company and surely three,s a crowd?? Plus I,ve already got four waiting in the workshop . Ooo eerrr. More tea vicar ;) ;) ;)

i think you may be giving more away than you think. the ads at the page top arent based on the fact that this is the thumper club forum, the ads are generated by programmes that select suitable ads based on your recent web browsing history, hence, mine is trying to sell me tablet computers (i was googling the owners manual for my daughters samsung tablet last night), then it flicks to holiday cottages, ebay ads for stuff ive been searching for and bike insurance adverts. these are all subjects that i have been searching out in recent days, hence google is now trying to show me other adverts related to my own search history. so, if you are getting ads trying to sell you dubious services, then thats based on the stuff that you have been searching out, not the name of this page...... ;D

Hmmm? Not the case I`m afraid. I`ve got a Citroen ad up at the moment, a holiday ad when I logged on and a bed advert yesterday, and not been searching for any of them :o Maybe try searching for "singles" then fingers crossed, the ad will pop up for you!!! ;) ;D

Ebay does that too! ......a while ago I was making kite holdall ( think fishing rod bag) and wanted some 5cm wide nylon or leather straps for the fastenings and handles. Looked this up on Ebay and for 2 weeks afterwards Ebay kept coming up with suggestions for bondage gear!!!.... try explaining that one to the wife!! :o

I have the privacy settings cranked up. Google is no doubt still looking but isn't supposed to use the info, hence I get random adverts. The random ones cost less to the advertiser, hence its all Russian brides and payment protection rackets.
What I never got when buying Google adverts was why you'd target buyers. If I just bought a Suzuki, chances are Honda are wasting their time. Amazon is worse, they know you just bought. Now if you googled motorbike dealer, then the paid ads should trigger.
My current banner is for Age UK. A charity, so either paying the lowest level or getting it free as part of Google's clean up after the tax thing. That or they think the club could contribute a few extra old blokes.

Morning Steve, when you say your "ad blocker" d'ya mean the wife??. Seen as you appear to be the only one not getting the "come date a granny" ad, maybe ya wife is sneaking in and deleting them before you get a chance to view / reply to them.... ;) ;) ;). Like I say I,ve got 5 waiting in the garage waiting to be "serviced", 4 of them are single and I,ve even got a twin. (2's company 3's a crowd n all that) so if you ever find yourself up round this neck o the woods feel free to call in. Plenty to go round :) :) Cheers...Michael

Ps...I,ve defo come down a peg or two, gone are the "date a single granny" ad's and now all i seem to be gettin are "sell your car" by "we buy any car.com" problem is I own a peugeot expert van..DOH ;) ;)...

Charities seem to be in vogue on whatever Google is tracking me on. Goodness knows why, I buy a poppy every November and a cake at work for red nose day and that's it.
