I now keep a photo of MD going through Ramsey on a Norton in the classic, on my sun visor in the car, to remind me that the winter doesn't last forever :)

Manxie, if you get any more rain, you'll sink into the Irish Sea mate :-\
-
:o I know!! We`re on a red weather warning for tonight and tomorrow, 85mph winds and rain...again. I may get the Guzzi out, with an 85mph tail wind I may hit the ton on it !!! ;D
-
Would love to head back over to the TT, not been since the early 90's. Although I'd really love to go the Manx/Classic... maybe 2017 ;)
-
I`ll be honest, I prefer the MGP myself ;) PS. welcome to the forum, great bunch on here!! :)

Interesting /not interesting fact :o
When we were over at Classic/MGP this year, weather was great. However, there had been very heavy rain for the previous few days. People we met said their campsites were waterlogged and muddy, yet ours was bone dry :)
So, spoke to Steve and his Mrs, the owners of Balamoar, and they informed us that the site was situated on an ancient dry river bed, hence gravel base, great drainage, great site :)
