Title: XBR spoked wheels

At this and last year's Stafford show, a firm was displaying a neat solution to fitting spoked wheels to a Honda Comstar-wheel bike. They were exhibiting a conversion for CX500s, but they can supply spoke flanges for the XBR too.

The kit involves unbolting the comstar 'spokes' from the wheel hub and then bolting on rings that act as spoke flanges. You can then get the wheel spoked to a rim.

Great idea, saw a bike some years ago with a similar but home made conversion using the inboard disk hub, looked exactly like a ventilated drum

i had the same sort of wheel years ago when i had a wing outfit, it had been laced onto 16 inch rims for avon sm tyres.  they were home made versions of the same thing.
