Hi manxie, can,t believe nobody has yet mentioned the word "CHIPS" (yes I know they were kawks) maybe they,re all just being ever so polite. Cracking bike mind, looks in very nice condition, has it been restored or just very well looked after??  Bet it,s lovely just cruising round the island on it eh??  Hope you plenty of happy, trouble free miles on the old girl. Thanks for posting photo,s really enjoyed looking at something just a "little" different.  Cheers Michael

That is one sweet looking bike you have there. I love the chunky, solid looks and imagine that V twin will be a stump puller.

Thanks for your kind comments fella`s.  ;) I think it has been restored in the past but not had too much tlc since  ??? "CHiP`s", yes you guys must be too polite as family and friend have given me a little abuse over it, and it`s lovely old police handle bars .... remarkably like a "wheel barrow"!!  ;D I`ve only covered about 150 miles on it and recently changed all the oils. It`s given a good weekend over here this week, so hopefully get out on it, may even do a lap  :-\ It`s certainly not a flying machine, nice heading over the mountain at a steady 60mph, any more than that could be scary I think, and the front brake is shhh.............ocking. There is a web site about these bikes called "this old tractor" and I understand why!! Needs a couple of bits doing to it and a little detailing but want to enjoy it first while the weather`s still half decent.  Good to hear from you all, thanks again, PONCH ......oooh, sorry ... Steve. :) ;)
