Got me wondering the other day how many XBR's are still out and running on the roads. Anyone any ideas how to find out? :D

While I wouldn't take it as absolute gospel, this gives you an idea.

Yes, a very interesting site, but, again, how accurate is it :-\

So since 2001, nos of all four models of XBR have halved :-\

Not surprised...I bet a lot of the cheaper XBR's that go on Ebay are broken for spares :-\. Sadly understandable when a tank went for over £200, rear wheel £125, seat cowl £80+ , Engine £3-500 plus all the other bits.
I'd be interested to know how many GB's are now registered as there seems to be a steady flow of them coming in now their worth £4-5000!

K-nell !! out of 1800+ total imported 2/3rd have disappeared. Would be nice to have a register of all the peps on here that have an XBR!

I think that site shows you how many are taxed so omits those on SORN.
If you look at the source site (https://www.gov.uk/government/collections/vehicles-statistics#publications-released-during-2015) you can download an Excel spreadsheet showing years of first registration etc. Interestingly I can't get the figures to tally with those on the original link - the spreadsheet shows a total of 405 XBRs (as against 455 SLR650s).
But essentially it's an exercise for those of us with not enough to do......
