Went to the Newark (Notts) autojumble today and whilst browsing saw a Yamaha SR500 frame with V5C, forks, wheels and a few other bits for 85 quid. Would have bought it as a lovely long-term project but was on my SR400 and couldn't carry it.

Got home and told my wife and she said "did you get his number?"

DOH!

I went to Newark autojumble some years ago and saw a large crowd gathering around one of the stalls. Being nosey I went to see the cause of the attraction to find a guy in the process of tying a Guzzi 500 engine (sans gearbox) to the rear carrier/seat of his solo bike!! :o ......I hope he lived locally and didn't have any corners on route!!
