Title: hi
Post by: guest1973 on April 08, 2015, 06:35:29 PM
Hi folks thought it was about time I registered on here. I've had a skorpion for a few years now that I doubt I'll ever part with, which led me to buy a baghira that needs a bit of work & bought a ccm r30 a few months ago.

Fair to say you like thumpers then. Welcome and what a nice selection of bikes you have. I've only ever had 2 stroke MZs but they were tough little beasties.

Hi from another newbie!

I've had loads of two stroke MZ's in the past and always fancied a Baggie.....

Welcome - lovely machines from both two and four stroke stables there (but I am biased as I have both too).

Look forward to seeing you somewhere.

Hi Skoprion

Can you give us a bit of insight into your spoked wheel conversion?  Are they Baggy forks/ wheels?

Would be interested.  I have a pair of FZR forks to replace the pretty rough MZ Items on my skorp, but not done anything about it yet.

I also think they look great with spoked wheels...

Andy230 the wheels ate of unknown origin, supermoto of some sort theres no cush drive so can be a bit snachy in traffic. I just measured it all up and had spacers made to suit, the only problem was the rear caliper but it was easy enough once I found a caliper (kx125) then made a new mount/torque arm. Its the best mod I've had on any bike I've had it totally transformed the handling. The grameca wheels are heavy as you probably know. Both spoked wheels are lighter than original front !

Yep, roll on summer, had a great run with the Mad Dog club today round Fermanagh/Tyrone. Four seasons in one day, sun, wind, rain, hail, sleet  :)
