Title: Cylinder head back from America

My cylinder head has arrived back from America, I sent it to XR's only to have the big fin kit welded on.
They have done a great job and the welding is top notch. My XBR is certainly going to look very different after its winter rebuild with this new head, the chrome big bore exhaust and its new tank and seat

Certainly looks the part and like you say the welding looks the bizz. Was it an expensive exercise ? Regards Michael

The actual work wasnt too expensive $250, but the shipping and insurance was really expensive, and the customs charge was a bit pricey

Shame nobody in good ol blighty could,nt do the job eh, especially considering we used to rule the world on the engineering front.  Eee when I were I lad, blah , blah , blah. Keep us posted on the rebuild, I,m looking forward to seeing it completed, especially with the cx tank.  Regards Michael
