anyone know anything about  a 650 conversion kit that Honda did for the xbr500.....have got the kit but cant find any info on it

Didnt know Honda did a 650 kit, The only 650's I have seen are NX motors fitted by the owners

What exactly is it that you have, some parts or a complete engine?

"Got a spare XBR500 and was thinking of converting to 650cc......Anybody know anything about the 650 conversion .....have original Honda xl650 crank and bearings, barrel,piston and rings, oil pump, clutch plates and springs...just need help/advise on what to do and what needs modified...."

At one time I did buy all the bottom end parts from a 650 and they wouldn't fit my crankcases. I was told that there are two 650 engines, the earlier engine has a narrower crank but I can't confirm that.
