It must be the time of year for it. It seems we are turning into the walking wounded forum.
I'm sitting here with a broken left thumb and wrist, torn tendons and broken right hand, damaged elbow and a painful knee.
Both arms are in casts and the wife has the flu along with a dislocated ankle after turning it on a step.
At least we can be miserable together.

Ouch !
Keep positive mind in your soul.
A long time to go better. I also lying on my sofa like a beached whale. Hopefully there are many good movies on the satellite TV.

My simpathies go out to both of you. This age thing is a real pain. I wish you all the speediest of recoveries.
Lets have a race. First one to get better can ride the bike! :o

So now you know the correct answer to "does my bum look big in this" ?
Bad luck mate, hope you are feeling better soon :D

The poor old bike looks quite sorry for itself, especially as it's going to take months before I can start to rectify the damage.
The amazing thing is, after straightening the bike up and pulling off the damaged bits, I rode it home 60 miles before going to A+E. Adrenalin is a wonderful thing!

Oh, B*gger!
This is not good, more wounded and running on adrenalin! Can only hope that you both mend and well. As for the Marc Marquez impersonation, shame your not paid the same dosh, but hope you mend as quick!
My regards, Bill.

Saw the consultant today. I've got to have an MRI scan on the right hand to get a clearer picture of the damaged tendons and the ligament in the wrist. The left wrist and thumb aren't going to be as much trouble as they aren't such a complicated injury and should heal without further intervention. Also, been booked in already for physio after the proposed op on the right hand. So there is some good news, ... the left side isn't as bad as the right side!

Well, I guess you will divine the weather now with these bones, muscles and tendons and ligaments.
Ok I go back to my sofa.
