Title: Anyone had an MT 350?
Post by: Smithy on August 13, 2013, 09:54:20 PM: I am considering buying a Harley Davidson MT 350 as a winter bike as I don't think my GN 400 will cut it due to the kickstart only. Like a lot of us who have ridden through winter year after year I have dodgy knees and really want an electric start.

So as the title says really has anyone owned one of these? My mate had a 500 version some years ago and I was very impressed with the build quality. Does the 350 have the same quality?

I'm not looking for performance as I just want a hack to get me through winter so my Midnight Star can stay in the garage.

Because of this I think they are commanding too much money compared to similar jap stuff and the parts although available can be expensive, particularly the Rotax stuff.

They do come up for sale quite often on the website I mentioned as well as ebay.
