Hi again
I have been able to run my project GN400 a little bit more and it is running reasonably at bottom and mid-range but is asking for more fuel at the top end.
Johnr you suggested a KLR 650 carb (I am assuming the KLR 600 carb is the same as it is the same size but a lot cheaper on ebay). Is this a straight swap or does the inlet manifold need changing as well to 40mm from 36mm?
I like the idea of a fast special so any help would be gratefully received.

i will try to find pictures of it, but im sure i just used a new piece of rubber to connect the carb to the head,
