So lately I've had some thoughts towards change, and I currently can't afford to own two bikes so I'm thinking about selling the XBR.
(Don't worry - I have another thumper in mind)
Most of you know what has been done to the bike from my Project Thread (http://www.thumperclub.com/smf/index.php?topic=4853.0) and I'm thinking about selling it as it is, current pic on the last page of that thread. My problem is, I have no idea about the value of this bike, since its SUPER rare in Finland - hence I have nothing to refer to. What would you guys ask for it in the UK?
The bike has 72'000 km's on the clock and the clutch is slipping at high revs. Other than that, the engine works fine but I have no idea on it's service history and it hasn't been opened by me.
The frame, electrics, clip-on's, brakes and exhaust are renewed but it still has the stocker seat on it.
Help me out.

The price of XBRs varies wildly from £1000 to £3000 on ebay. I would suggest that as yours is non standard a price of between £1200 and £1500 would be a good start point. Obviously something is only worth what people will pay for it. I'm currently advertising a Kawasaki ER5 elsewhere for a reasonable price and have had no interest at all.

Thanks for the info Smithy. It seems nobody's buying anything right now, I've been trying to sell my car for the past few weeks also and have had no interest. But those figures were about the same I was initially thinking about. The XBR is really an odd-ball here, so trying to sell it may be very easy or very difficult.

Good luck with it I hope you have some luck and find a good home for it.
