My brother Gareth (Silverfox) is selling the ex-RobG CB250RS that I gave him for his birthday a few years ago.
See the Ebay listing HERE (http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1982-HONDA-CB250RSA-CB250-Restored-/190818717289?pt=UK_Motorcycles&hash=item2c6dae8e69)
My brother spent a fortune restoring the bike, but he doesn't really want to just show the bike and the pristine condition is more of a hindrance than a help for his type of riding (all year round, all weather).

It's easy you just ride it, and don't worry about it - just cause it looks like new doesn't mean it has stopped working, surely?
Too rich for my taste, of course I still hanker for Eastern Euro prices before the classic brigade turned up -

Gareth and I rode up to our local bike cafe this morning (Cowbridge Common) and I got to ride the CB on the return journey. It is bloody fantastic. Featherlight clutch, sweet gearchange, strong motor and lovely handling. I'd forgotten how good a sorted CB250 could be. Yes it's a shame it's going but someone will get a blinding bit of kit for their wonga (imho).
I think it would just always annoy him to see the bike get dirty and start to age and wear again. I think, in this case, he got a lot of his fun from the rebuild and he wants to turn his attention to other projects (and bikes).
Cheers

Graham, have you still got the 650 engine for the XBR, if so is it still for sale?

Still got it. Is it for sale? Erm.... Possibly.
I'm off to work now, let me me ponder it today and get back to you. If I forget, text me on 07866 525054 to prod me.
