For the HGV test the theory test is different. Such gems as what knots to use when securing a load of coal to the back of a AEC Mammoth  :-X

I assume the Car, bike and bus tests have their own (the HGV was the last one I did, my previous ones were all before they brought this in) ? There is .gov website where you can do the mock tests online.

Good Luck

Unfortunately you need to take a car theory test as it's classed as a different vehicle category. The hazard perception part of the test is the same for all categories with some differences in pass marks. The multiple choice questions differ for different categories.
It's worth preparing for both parts - even as an experienced road user.
Try " Driving Test Success ALL TESTS " - good feedback for the hazard perception bit.
Best of luck!
