Bought this in May 2012. It had been standing for 9 years, (last road tax disc ran out in 2003).
I've always thought the XBR was a handsome machine, but I have never been fond of the stock colours.
I renovated and rebuilt this myself, including the respray in a lighter shade than the original. Everything was stripped back and rebuilt.
I finished it in August. It now has a years MOT, (no advisories) and its first run was the Air Ambulance Charity Ride, which was 130 miles.
It's not particularly fast, but it handles really well and I love it.
