You say a recent operation - have you fully recovered from it yet?
As a suggestion, I'd wait a bit longer to see how your knee fares.
I'd wouldn't like to see you have regrets in a couple of months time.

You can try to find a 3SX Monoshock SRX with an electric starter, or put a 600 XT E in your SRX.
Some people have done this. It works fine with little problem to fix.

Chaps
it is not starting(it is an electric start) it that is the problem it is just the riding position and i do not want to start with rear sets etc as i feel it will not look or feel right.

A sad day indeed Alan. I hope that you can find someone to love and cherish it in the manner to which it is accustomed. All the best Mart.

A Harley Davidson "feet first" kit ??
is the exit still this way ? ---->>
Keep courage.

Hi Alan
Thats a shame. Lovely bike, tastefully modded!
Hope the knee recovery goes well!
cheers mate, good luck with the sale. I'd have it, if only I needed another bike!

I have seen and heard Alans SRX6 and it beggars belief that it hasnt sold as yet !!!! . It was seeing this bike that gave me the incentive to build my own "Hybrid".
Alan Im sorry to hear about your knee, but I fully understand your reasons. I hope it goes to as good a home as it has been used to over the years.
(Im sorry but I have a full garage now too :()

Thanks for that Ian.
I am in no hurry to sell the bike as i have another bike that i ride that is a more upright position and does not affect my knee.

Hi Alan,
A sad day indeed... If you havn't sold it yet I may have a friend who is interested... i'll send him the link and he can contact you directly... if yours has gone he will be looking for something similar or the honda xbr500... but i'll post him the link to the club and he can sort it out himself.
hope the knee makes a full recovery

Alan... could you possibly email me your contact details... I have a friend who is interested in your bike (if you havn't sold it)... and try as he might he is having great difficulty in registering on TC.. so can't leave a post on here.

Aye...that'll be him.... had all sorts of probs getting registered on here... so i registered for him... and yesterday i got an email saying he'd arrived at TC safely.
Think he fancied my #1, but its the only bike i have (road).. and yours looks so much better... so i hope he goes for it
