I mentioned the other week about me causing a bit of upset on a car forum. Well apparently it is so controversial that they have now locked the topic on the forum so it cant be updated. Didnt know I was so radical.

Whether my wheels would still clear the wheel arches if I lowered the front end of my car ?
(And yes I know I'm old enough to know better)

Obviously the car equivalent of mentioing synthetic oil on Enfield Bullet pages. Don't worry about it, some people need to get out more.

May I guess at some of the answers?:

Depends how much you lower it.
Why would you want to?
It'll upset the steering geometry and you'll crash and burn, setting the atmosphere on fire and wiping out the human race, leaving cockroaches to rule the planet.
Yes, nothing matters so long as you use non-synthetic oil.

Jeezuz Steve!!  Thats pretty tragic- so much for the subversive lefties ruling the world by the information superhighway, a place where information is free and people can communicate without fear of censorship, eh??!!.

Perhaps its because of possible litigation if someone follows your lead and kills themself...  I hate that crap!

As an aside, -and *not* a criticism steve- I despise the auto-censor function of this forum.

So I think cockroaches drinking cocktails are a no-no
Can we read dickens?  And discuss military arsenals? Buggery is obviously out, but what about fat americans, sitting about on their fannies all day?
