Title: frame lugs on xbr
Post by: reckless_b on July 11, 2012, 07:39:11 PM
evening all, I've spent a few hours tinkering with the old xbr today and noticed a pair of lugs on the frame under the engine where you would imagine a belly pan would fit, does anyone know their purpose, just wondered if the standard pipes mounted on these, this is my third xbr but the first with after market pipes.

Yep, they're for the standard downpipes which come down and are braced against the frame using these brackets with a big rubber washer between the pipe and the bracket.
