Just a quick one.....usual type with acid pack.....or splash out on a sealed gel type? Cheers in advance....

Gel type needs a different charge rate.

Try a MotoBatt battery from wemoto.I had one on my xbr for over a year now ,no maintenance :)

motobatt are top kit, and cheaper than many lead acid batteries. they can cope with the extreme cold of winter and hold their charge longer when not in use. theyre also smaller physically than their equivalent output wise, so you can either have a battery of the same power rating but smaller and lighter, or a battery the same size as your stock one, but with much more cranking power.

Just been looking at one of these motobatt ones on ebay....do sound pretty good. Only thing that concerned me was that it mentions about having to use a certain type of charger to charge it.
