Title: SR250 Carb source a new one or an alternative
Post by: SHimmer45 on November 23, 2011, 10:07:52 PM
as per the title really.
carb on my bike is pretty tired and depending on the costs of a rebuild kit i might look at a replacement or a different carb.
any suggestion as i viable alternative, releasing a little bit of poke wouldnt go a miss either :)

thanks

I've used a MK2 Amal and a CB250RS carb, you might struggle to source either of those these days. The best carb I had on there for performance was a 34mm flat slide smoothbore, it was a US carb, I forget the make (Blue Magnum?)
