Title: No no no. Simoncelli RIP
Post by: guest7 on October 23, 2011, 12:14:25 PM
See this: MARCO SIMONCELLI KILLED (http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/motogp/15420069.stm)

He was the best hope for Motogp as an entertaining sport, instead of, as is increasingly the case, being a corporate bland tele-entertainment. Killed in a collision with his best friend. Surely Valentino will retire now  :(

RIP Marco, you were the fan's rider.

And as a for that limp-wristed little shit Dani Pedrosa, he's lost the chance to shake the hand of a great man, instead of behaving like this:

A terrible day for the sport and for the family of a fantastic man.

A terrible loss for the sport and a character that will be missed not just by his fans but also by anyone who watches MotoGP regularly. One of the few riders that would cut through all the c*** of the factories politics.
I know the guy didn't always make friends with his style of riding, but you could never say the guy didn't try hard!!

I hope Rossi won't make any hasty decisions about his own future.

R.I.P. Marco, you will be greatly missed..

Marco knew all the risks, yet like all riders, road or race, participated with spirit and courage. Biking is one of the last great exciting adventures the nanny state (and of course no win no fee) allows. That's why bike riders are more honourable folk than most in my opinion, because they 'walk the walk'.
RIP #58
