Title: srx400 cylinder barrel nuts

does anyone know the parts numbers for the front and rear nuts for the cylinder barrel  or where i can get replacements for the srx400/600 theres two of them recessed in the fins...

Part number is 90179-10201 (2 required).  You should be able to order them from any decent Yamaha dealer if they are still available. If not then it looks like I will have to make some  ;D

If its the aluminium barrel nuts then I believe they are used on a number of Yamahas, failing that www.kedo.com (http://www.kedo.com) do stainless steel replacements

thanks guys would i be able to get valve guides and seals for the 87 400 from a yamaha dealer to?

400 Part Numbers
Valve guides - 4H7-11133-10
Circlip- 93440-12052
Seals- 1J7-12119-01

PS all these are the same part numbers for the 600 as well

thamks ian sorry actually its the valve guide oil seals i need is that the last part you listed also do you buy them as a set? where can i get hold of the parts list book for srx400/600?

The last part number is the valve oil seal (I think you buy them singly) That part number fits a variety of Yamaha bikes/engines/snowmobiles/jetskis etc so should be readily available
