Title: xbr cams

hi guys are gb500 camshafts and xbr 500 camshafts the same as them cam is gone in my xbr  but can get one for a gb thanks tommy

Probably, the valve timings are exactly the same. The other alternative is to get the old cam reprofiled.

I've previously used a XL600R cam in a GB 400 along with rockers etc.
 
Same profile etc...

The cam in my XBR has the same lobe height as the XL600.But the XBR manual that I have gives a different lobe height...Maybe later XBRs had milder cams?
