Title: Sunday Run
Post by: Dave#22 on April 10, 2011, 07:42:20 PM
Hi All, Pat & I went to the CBG meet at the Midway Truck Stop today on the Suzuki Starfire.......saw another members bike,a blue & gold SRX and a nice black GB400, plus hundreds of other bikes, but the one that stood out for me was a Boss Hoss with 430 on the rocker covers......I said surely the 430 is not cubic inches (7 litre) and he said no, it's the horsepower from a 327cu in (5.7L) Corvette engine, no gearbox, just a torque convertor with belt drive.....wow,what a monster.
From there we went to Bridgnorth for a Round Britain Rally visit and then back home....,160miles and the bike's running well.

Hi Dave,
you should have said you were going, but it was a bit manic there I must admit. (mine was the SRX). I only did a round trip of 66 miles with plenty of speed cameras and 2 wheeled fuzz around.

Ian

PS apprently its not organized by CBG now since Mortons took over the mag. It was sorted by the cafe itself this year, so I was reliably informed today.

Will post a few pics soon :)
