......I will mostly be turning omi-polone and persuing Guy Martin as my principle love interest! Just watched 'The Boat That Guy Built' and he really comes across as an even better bona bloke than I already thought he was.

Ohhh, vader the homme, if he shushed his riah he'd be bona, but naff I fear.
Yep, Guy is the man of the year. He seems to have embraced some level of professionalism and joined the Relentless Suzuki team. Surely he must win a race at the TT this year.

that was one good program....looking forward to the next 5.....
alwys rated Guy.....i do hope he gets a result in the TT, but he's up against such good opposition....at least he'll have reliable relentless machines this year

Just watched 'The boat that guy built' on catch up. Bloody brilliant.
His mind is mad: "Would you put brain surgery above rocket science?"

Mrs Onepot just watched the show and I think she has a crush on Guy ::)

She will have to get in the Que as Mrs beeman has had a thing about him since seeing him at the 2009tt
She also understands every word being a "yellow belly".
I've only been in and around Lincolnshire 43 years and no longer need an interpreter.
Having met him a couple of times he seems, what you see is what you get, so to speak. He also is not a bad bike racer.

It's the sideburns #1......so you'd better get growing mate

Squirrel family gathered around the moving picture box last night and watched this on iplayer. First show in a long while all members of the clan enjoyed the same programme. I think Mrs Squirrel is going to throw her hat in with the other Ladies. ::)

Who is Guy Martin? ???

Come on Steve, get with the program. You saw him race on the IoM where he is generally reckoned to be the member of the current racing crop who most deserves to win a replica but has not yet done so.
Bit of a nutter/character too - I recall seeing him pissed on the prom riding some bucking bronco machine. Lots of sideburns.
The (non) thinking TC (wo)mans totty of the moment.
To be fair he is a bloody fast racer with a much more engaging character that that Fogarty chap.

That's not too difficult.................

Excellent program, sort of Fred Dibnahesque without the hint of nostalgic melancholy. He's got the makings of a good potter too, it took me weeks before I could throw anything even resembling a decent cup. I didn't like the look of that pot of tea though.
We're all big fans in the Pigafetta household. Every year we cheer him on in the TT and every year he just manages to not win anything.
Starting to wonder about the casually fluent use of polari on this forum though. Have we all got our DVD recorders set up for next weeks episode featuring Guy in the shower? ;)

"Fred Dibnahesque" thats the exact words we used to try to describe him in our house.

It was a fantastic program. I see it is repeated on prime time BBC on Sunday evening, I think the Beeb have plans for him and good luck to him its fantastic TV.

Definitely the best thing on television last week. It's Sky plussed and series linked and also recording straight to DVD to keep.
I love the way he thinks. Right, he's got 6 weeks to see to this boat, so instead of actually doing anything with it, he decides that the first priority is tea! From what he said in MCN, it's doubtful he'll be doing any more TV any time soon, as he's too busy. Mind, if they give him enough money, you never know.
