A chap I knew had a most unusual outfit but sadly I haven't got a photo. The bike/sidecar chassis was homemade and one complete frame. It was powered by a Daf Variomatic and ran through Daf wheels with two driven wheels, rear and sidecar. Being a variomatic it didn't have a gearbox as such, just a lever forward-neutral-reverse and it could go as fast backwards as forward. Wierd machine which I believe was locally made in Lincoln.

The guy was called Steve Hornridge. I think he sold the oufit when he moved to Scotland about 10 years ago. It could well be the same outfit as it was very distinctive.
