My brother resurrected Simon M's venerable DR650 after its final blow-up. In the end it cost him a lot of money as he had to buy a donor bike to get everything needed to make one good bike.

Gareth rode it to the Dragon and although he loved it he feels that it doesn't have a place now in his garage as he'd rather concentrate on restoring his CB250 RS and riding his Ducati Monster.

He has reluctantly put it on Ebay. HERE's (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/1992-SUZUKI-DR650-DR-650-J-Reg-/190506285858?pt=UK_Motorcycles&hash=item2c5b0f3b22) the advert. Starting bid was £500.

I've ridden the bike and it goes very well indeed. If I had the money I'd have snapped his hand off.

It's a shame to see a well-known TC bike go after all these years as its been such a regular fixture at club events.

Oh for that money I'll have a look.

when does it end and where is it? I cant see at work.

It went for £601 in the end, I think my brother is a bit gutted.
