Yes please.  Always wanted one and now I can't afford one I would love to make one.

Have a welder but no skill.

Gareth says he got the plans from the internet, he's going to send me the link... I just googled for build your own bike lifts and got THIS (http://www.bigbikeworld.com/pages/page1.asp), which looks much like the one he built.

I had a lot of timber left over from a job last year so I made a wood bench about 60cm high, 250cm long and 45cm wide. It works well but you do have the fag of getting the bike on and off using a plank ramp. However total cost was £0.00
