As the title says..coming soon on Discovery Turbo (if you are able to receive it on either Sky or Cable), a new series called Café Racer. I will do my best to record it on DVD and hopefully pass it onto others who cant get it..no promises though!

May give me incentive to do the Triton.

To tie up a few posts here (Nice baby Caff Racer, and Spirit of the 60s)
The Cafe Racer series will be on weekdays at 8pm on D Turbo. I think there will be some good reminiscings (?) for a lot of us in this series.

So... what's this show like?

Very americanised really.. :(
I missed episode 2 last week due to technical failure of the DVD recorder (probably operator error really
Didnt realise it was on again this week. ???
I can send you episodes 1 & 3-10, but I think you may get bored after watching a couple of them
Purely my humble opinion

is it one of them programmes where they stretch out 20 minutes of footage to make a 45 minute programme by constantly reviewing what they have just done and then previewing what they are about to do over and over again as though the viewer has the memory span of a goldfish!! and then just as they are making progress, the builders have either, a huge argument/a totally foreseeable and avoidable disaster/a day out playing golf/a visit from a z list celebrity,

John, you forget that the "average viewer" is an "average american viewer" - goldfish might be a tad over optimistic.

Absolutely correct Johnr. If I had realised at the beginning of it all I wouldnt have recorded what I have done. Btw..I dont think I really needed to have recorded episode 2 anyway...If you watch 1 and 3 you can make up the other 5 minutes.
