The little trailie with the roll-bar was cool. Everything else just made me feel a little bit ill.

Couldn't watch it all the way through .... those guys are way out of my league, sort of 21st century Village People ;)
I think my Buell is cool, even with the Harley-derived motor 8)

We all know sales of Harleys are at a low that hasnt been seen for some time..is this desparate measures or will they slide even lower now?
(I too agree with the comments about the sportster and the roll cage bike)
What do I know anyway?

I don't generally like Harley's much, but there is a guy in our village with an old Bobber style '45 with straight through 2" pipes and genuine high mileage worn paint work which is bloody gorgeous!!! Proper bike!

It looks ok when it's the original patina worn with age but as it is now the 'in' look too many are being built like this. I've seen boys denting tanks and headlight shells(criminal) then painting them up with rubbed back layers of red lead and grey primers just to look cool. New bikes with 50yrs added to them.
They make my 26yr old Harley look new that has the genuine wear and dents with stories behind each one. If it wasn't for the fact that everyone knows everyone around here they would pass off as being the kiddies that have owned and ridden their only bike since their grandfather left it to them.

Re. new 'old' bobbers
The painted-on wear marks on frames just make me cry with laughter... it's a bit like punk and rocker leather jackets, you can't just turn up on day one of ownership with all the badges, patches and scuffs, you have to let the thing evolve into a worn item.

I'm pretty sure it's the real McCoy, it has that proper used look like Bruce's Norton that you just can't replicate. I'll try and get a photo.

I wasn't inferring otherwise in this case it just triggered me off but they are out there.
You can't beat an original lived in look whatever it is, far better to see an 'oily rag' 'barn find'(advertising terms) classic being used with a few ongoing mods than an immaculately restored one in a showroom("that's not the correct seat mounting bolt")
