Many TCers know Bruce Pollard, a famous figure in the British classic scene and a Dragon Rally Stalwart. He has been absent from this forum for a few months but I thought I'd better send him some tickets for the Stafford show and I was delighted to see him ambling over to the stand on Saturday morning.
It transpires that Bruce is ill and that is what has curtailed his motorcycling and his posting to the forum. I asked Bruce if I could pass this information on via the forum because so many people ask me if I have seen Bruce and what has he been up to.
Let me be the first of what I am sure will be a long list of TCers wishing Bruce all the best.

I wondered where he had got to, I was missing the awful jokes!!
Hope you're feeling much better soon Bruce and back on the road before long.
(I've still got a Florence Foster Jenkins* CD for your collection next time I see you...mind you, you probably won't want to listen to that at the moment!!)
(* FFJ is banned under the Geneva Convention - Google it if you dare.)

I'm sorry to say I can testify to his undiminished ability to tell a bad joke, he came out with a belter (of the genre) on saturday

Wish you all the best Bruce. Keep telling those awful jokes and never be afraid or too proud to accept any help that's offered, or ask for any help you need.
Best Wishes,
