Hummm did the biker even know he was being chased, did not seem to make much headway through the traffic and the bus should have been it?

Anyway - nice punt....  Friends Mum was in the states when she was pulled off the road by the police who had a sort of roadblock set up.  Early days of the GPz900R and lo one appears at warp 5 (she was a biker herself and recognised the bike later)  as Bike traveling at best part of 150mph whangs past, said police shot rider off bike, either the gun shots or the hitting the floor killed him.  Crime - failing to stop when indicated to for speeding.

Hell's teeth! Stopping distance at 150mph is huge, so that was a triffle over zealous to blast him away just because.

Unless of course the roadblock had been set up to catch that particular speeder... but still a bit harsh!
